For waste clearance firms
Websites for waste clearance firms, where the customer prices the job themselves.
Nobody can price a clearance down the phone. "It's a garage, fairly full" could be a morning, or a day and two loads. So every enquiry turns into a site visit or a guess — and both cost you.
The week you're probably having
It isn't the work. It's everything around the work.
Every enquiry is a phone call
Then a guess at a price, then a promise to ring back, then chasing them to find out whether they've gone with someone else.
Surprises on arrival
Three flights of stairs, nowhere to park, a fridge nobody mentioned. The price was wrong before the van left the yard.
Jobs spread across a phone, a diary and a whiteboard
Which quotes went out, which were accepted, which are booked in for Thursday — and none of it in one place.
What we'd build
What we'd build for a waste clearance firm.
On your own website, so every part can see the others. Start with the one that's costing you most, and add the rest when they start to hurt.
Customers price their own clearance
They say what the waste is and how much of it, which floor it's on and whether there's parking, and add photos. The price comes from a rate card you edit yourself.
Honest about what it can't price
A job the calculator can't price properly is flagged for you to look at, rather than shown to the customer as a number that's wrong.
Half-finished quotes are still leads
Every quote is saved from the first step, so someone who gives up halfway through is a lead you can follow up rather than nothing at all.
One pipeline from enquiry to done
Each job moves from new, to quoted, to booked, to done, on one screen — so nothing waiting on a call-back gets forgotten.
What it looks like in practice
On a Tuesday evening someone clearing out a parent’s house fills in your quote form. It’s the contents of a two-bedroom flat, second floor, no lift, parking on the street. They add six photos from their phone.
A price appears based on your own rates, with the stairs and the parking already in it. If it’s the kind of job the calculator can’t price honestly on its own, it’s flagged for you instead, and you look at the photos in the morning before confirming.
Somebody else starts a quote for a garden shed full of rubble and stops halfway through. That’s still in your pipeline, with what they’d told you, and a two-minute phone call turns it into a booking.
By Wednesday you can see every job on one screen — the new ones, the ones waiting for an answer, and Thursday’s loads — without reaching for the whiteboard.
What are your apps costing you?
Paying for a few apps every month to run the business? Put them in and see renting against owning over the years - including when renting is the cheaper choice.
Already built
Not a plan. Something that's running.
Proworks Waste Solutions
Waste clearance
Before: Every enquiry was a phone call, and every phone call was a guess at a price that had to be checked and rung back.
Customers price their own clearance online — waste type, volume, access, photos — and the quote lands in an admin pipeline that tracks it from new to quoted to booked to done.

Follow one job all the way through.
From the enquiry landing to the invoice being paid — every step below is a real screen from the software, and two of them you can have a go on.
Step 1 — The enquiry
It lands somewhere you will actually see it
Someone fills in the form on your site. It arrives in your own inbox on your own domain — not a shared mailbox, not a form-to-email plugin that quietly stops working.

“I spend my evenings ringing people back with prices, and half of them have already booked someone else.”
Step 2 — The quote
Priced from your list, not from memory
You build the quote from the services you have already priced, and send it. They read it on your website — and can tick anything extra they want, at your prices.
- Website — six pages, built and launched£699
- Online quoting with photos£1,150
- Customer portal£449
Would you like any of these?
Tick it — that is exactly what your customer does, at the price you set.
Step 3 — They accept
And the job builds itself
Their name and the date are recorded against exactly what they agreed to. The lines they accepted become the checklist for the work — nobody retypes the job anywhere.

What happens on its own
- The enquiry is marked won, so it stops appearing as something to chase
- Every line they accepted becomes a step on the job, price and all
- The deposit figure is worked out and the client gets their own login
Step 4 — The work
They can see where it has got to
You tick steps off as you go. They get their own page showing progress and what is waiting on them. The phone stops ringing to ask how it is going.
- Kick-off call and brief agreed
- Send your logo, photos and wording
- Design drafted for you to look at
- waiting on you
- Build
- Launch
Tick “Approve the design” and watch the bar move — that is their view, live.
Step 5 — The invoice
Billed from the work, then stamped paid
Mark it invoiced and the bill is drawn from the work itself, emailed with a PDF attached. Mark it paid and the same document is stamped, dated and kept.
Paid in full — thank you.

This is the system that will quote you.
Ask us for a price and you will get those exact screens — the quote, the progress page, the invoice. We run the business on the thing we sell.
Questions
What waste clearance firms ask us.
Won't people just choose the cheapest options to get a low price?
Some will try. The photos let you see the job before you confirm it, and anything the calculator can't price honestly is flagged for you to look at rather than quoted wrongly.
What if someone starts a quote and doesn't finish it?
It's still saved. Every quote is kept from its first step, so you have their details and what they'd told you so far — worth a call, where before you'd have had nothing.
Can it keep the records of where each load went?
We can build that in, so each job carries what was collected and where it was taken. The records you're legally required to keep are still your responsibility — this just stops them living in a notebook.
