Site Survey · by Flintholt
Site snagging that doesn’t charge you for every pair of boots.
Most site apps charge per person. Site Survey charges for what you actually run: from £15 a month for a project and three trades, and £3 for each trade after that. Admins are free.
Card taken up front, nothing charged for five days. Cancel from inside the app.
Ten people · one project · per month
Every person is another seat.
£15 with three trades included, then £3 a head. Admins free.
About 7× cheaper
What it does
Cheaper per head, and built for the conversation, not just the list.
Plenty of apps let you list snags and take photos. Fewer let the people on site answer back — and that’s where a job actually gets stuck.
It talks both ways
The office sets the work; the people on site answer from inside the job — done, couldn’t do it, or need longer, with a photo and a note. Nobody rings round.
Blocked jobs pause themselves
A plumber who can’t start because the wall isn’t cored flags it from the job. It stops counting as late, and comes back to his list the moment the hole is done.
Nothing becomes work until you agree it
Anyone on site can flag a problem, including the client. It waits for you to say yes — and who, and by when — or no with a reason.
Each firm sees only its own
Two subcontractors on the same site see their own jobs, not each other’s. Tick one box and the client sees the lot, photos included.
A report with your name on it
Filter by trade, area or status, then download it as PDF or Word with your logo, or email it straight out.
Built for a phone in a plant room
Installs to the home screen, works on a poor signal, and resizes photos before they upload.

How it all works, start to finish
A job flagged, agreed, done and reported — and what happens when somebody can’t get on.
Watch it →Why we built a subscription
To show you what we can build. Not to keep you paying for ever.
Site Survey is one thing we’ve built, rented out so you can use it before you trust us with anything bigger. For a small team it’s hard to beat. But a growing business shouldn’t be paying rent for ever on something that lives on somebody else’s platform, at somebody else’s prices.
- Per-seat app
- £9,000–£10,800
- £25–£30 a user, ten users
- Your own build
- £4,700
- From £3,500, plus the optional £25/month care plan
- Site Survey
- £1,656
- £46 a month at today’s prices
So why would you ever pay £3,500?
Because the chart above is a small firm standing still. Grow to 25 people over eight live projects and Site Survey is £116 a month — and a build of your own overtakes it in about 3.5 years, then keeps getting cheaper.
And subscription prices change. Ours included: if demand grows, these prices may have to. A system you own doesn’t send you a letter about next year’s price rise.
Most of all, a build of your own does what your business does, not what an app was designed to do for everybody. There are hundreds of products out there and it’s hard to find the right one. So why not have the right one built?
We know it’s a big decision.
£3,500 up front is a lot more than £15 a month, and nobody should spend it on a hunch. That’s what the subscription is for: run your jobs on Site Survey, see how you work with it, and see what you’ve paid — the app shows you the running total on its Billing page.
When that number starts to look silly, talk to us. We’ll build yours around the way you actually work, and it’s yours to keep.
Per-seat figures use £25–£30 a user a month, the low end of what paid tiers of construction field apps typically publish; many charge more, and some offer limited free tiers. Site Survey prices are today’s: £15/month including one survey and three trades, £5 per extra survey, £3 per extra trade, admins free. Closed surveys still count. Flintholt is not VAT registered, so there is nothing to add. Build cost is a starting point; every build gets a fixed quote.
Start on ours. Own yours when it makes sense.
Five days free on Site Survey, or a free half-hour to talk about a build of your own.
